Mated Snake Knots on buckle

The original design has no true core cords, as you swap the working ends to become standing ends on each move. Here is a simple twist to add those cores, and therefore lock it onto a buckle securely. One cord should be longer than the other color, in order to allow it to form the core - add double the wrist measurement and you should be fine. In this example, we have the grey cord, hitched in the center to one buckle, then run through the other buckle and secured with a square knot. The second color is strung through that square knot, and the tying continues as normal.
